Review Tuesday: All I Want by Jill Shalvis

Oh a Jill Shalvis book! I mark her release dates on my calendar so I buy the book the morning that it comes out. All I Want is book 7 in her Animal Magnetism series, and it’s the story of Zoe and Parker. All I Want

From Goodreads:

Pilot-for-hire Zoe Stone is happy to call Sunshine, Idaho, her home base. But her quiet life is thrown for a loop when her brother’s friend Parker comes to stay with her for a week. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife special agent is a handsome flirt with a gift for getting under her skin. And the situation only escalates when Parker hires her to fly him around the area while he collects evidence on a suspected smuggler.

Now she has to live and work with the guy. But when they’re in the air, she sees another side of him. He’s driven, focused, and sharp. And while he enjoys giving commentary on her blind dates, she quickly realizes with a shock that it’s Parker who gets her engines going…

Zoe is the oldest sister to Wyatt and Darcy (books 5 and 6 respectively), and she is the sibling that takes care of everyone. It’s always been her job and she’s done it with no regrets, but now that her siblings have found their other halves she’s lonely and trying to figure out what she wants to do with herself. Enter Parker. Her brother’s friend who needs a place to crash for a little while. And now cue the sparks.

These two are so lovely. Parker loves Oreo, Zoe’s huge slightly dumb dog, and ends up adopting two kittens because it’s the right thing to do, and Parker is always about doing the right thing. He has a way of taking care of Zoe, even though she doesn’t need taking care of, and I find their relationship just highly cute and entertaining.

This book, I will admit, isn’t my favourite in this series, but it’s still very good and highly entertaining. A great read that will make you laugh out loud, and wish that you had your very own Parker. If you pick it up you won’t be disappointed.
